Mood and Cardiopulmonary Exercise Study
Researchers at George Washington University are conducting a research study to understand how people with a mood disorder perform on an exercise test, and examine any connections between their responses during the test and other health indicators. Participation is voluntary and includes a virtual interview to confirm mental health diagnosis, and an on-site laboratory visit where participants will complete the cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET) that involves walking or running on a treadmill as the incline and pace increase, as well as filling out some questionnaires about their health. Participants will be compensated up to $120. To participate, please call us at (202) 913-0820 or email us at [email protected] to schedule your screening call.
