    • In collaboration with PHSA for National Public Health Week, the Institute hosted a screening and discussion of PBS & WETA's new Caregiving documentary. Panelists included members Dr. Melinda Power and Dr. Christina Prather, Professor Alison Barkoff, and Dean Brenner.

    • The Institute hosted a Lunch and Learn featuring GW alumni Erin Bennett, where she talked about early career experiences and offered advice to current students.

    • Dr. Antonio Puente presented on the current state of Alzheimer's disease diagnosis.

    • Our Institute faculty had the opportunity to meet each other and share their current research interests and projects.

    • Dr. Lorens Helmchen presented on a new pilot grant that uses AI tools to analyze speech in elderly adults to detect changes in mood and mental acuity.

    • Dr. Christina Prather gave Institute members an overview of the CMS GUIDE program.
